Firm recovers stolen mobile generator within hours of theft

Trenton, Michigan – April 26, 2006 – Fleetilla, Inc. (www.fleetilla.com), of Trenton, Michigan, a developer of GPS tracking solutions for commercial industries was recognized by its customer LTW Services of Kilgore, Texas as being responsible for the recovery of a trailer mounted generator used in water well drilling that was immediately recovered by law enforcement officials who used Fleetilla tracking technology to locate the asset. LTW is in the business of generator rentals to drilling firms.

According to Mike Zermeno, Operations Manager at LTW, the $18,000 generator was stolen from a customer location in the early hours of April 12, 2006. “We know from Fleetilla tracking that the generator was at the location at 1:26 AM and stolen shortly thereafter. Using Fleetilla we were able to trace the path the thieves took and pinpoint its exact location. Law enforcement was able to proceed directly to the location and recover the generator,“ stated Zermeno.

LTW tracks 23 mobile generators using Fleetilla technology. The company has been a Fleetilla client for over a year and plans to expand its coverage to additional assets in the near future. “Fleetilla is an investment that has paid off. We were able to recover an expensive, and very important, asset because of the tracking capabilities. We are very happy,” furthered Zermeno.
