OVERVIEW

Many dispatching, service delivery, routing, logistics, vehicle maintenance, asset management, field force management and similar application solutions can be enhanced with the use of real-time vehicle location data derived from a GPS and conveyed wirelessly. Description

The Fleetilla/SIP platform is built around the Fleetilla FL18XX fleet communications hardware and the Fleetilla web-to-wireless gateway as shown in the diagram below.

The FL18XX along with any optional components are installed in the mobile equipment. FL18XX transmits GPS, vehicle bus, sensor and other data, along with any data supplied by Solution Integrator equipment to the Fleetilla web-to-wireless gateway. The Solution Integrator application at the central office/customer site interacts with the Fleetilla web-to-wireless gateway to send and receive data from the field equipment.
